Working Together to Build a Strong Creative Community —
By the North, For the North, In the North.

imagiNorthern Summit 2026

Flin Flon, MB.

February 21 - 22, 2026.

Across Northern Manitoba, Saskatchewan and beyond, artists, makers, producers,
artisans, crafters, designers, food entrepreneurs, and arts organizations are making art and building creative work that strengthens communities and local economies — often with limited resources and support.

The imagiNorthern Summit 2026 brings people together to turn connection into action. This is where the imagiNorthern network takes its next big step: finalizing community-driven governance, strengthening local leadership through regional champions, sharing real tools for funding, markets, advocacy, and career growth, and building relationships that make creative work sustainable.

Whether you create, organize, produce, or support creative activity, this Summit is about practical solutions — not theory.

You’ll leave with new connections, clearer pathways to resources, stronger skills, and a direct role in shaping a Northern-led creative network built by and for the North. Come be part of building what’s next — together.

Some travel bursaries and free accommodations are available on a needs, and first-come-first-served basis. Simply email Fiona Rettie or Jacob Brodovsky below to enquire.
